Mary C. Anderson is a dedicated attorney with a strong background in real estate, personal injury, and civil rights law. Before entering the legal profession, Mary owned and operated her own mortgage brokerage firm and worked as a licensed REALTOR®. She has firsthand experience in nearly every facet of real estate, including underwriting loans for major banks and private mortgage insurance companies. Her decision to attend law school was driven by the 2008 market crash and a desire to advocate for others through the legal system.
Mary’s legal practice reflects her deep expertise in real estate and property law. She has argued two cases before the Washington State Supreme Court—both resulting in significant rulings, including a landmark 9-0 decision that is now used as a training tool at several firms. Her litigation experience also includes a recent jury trial in which she secured a verdict exceeding $2 million for a personal injury client.
Her commitment to justice extends beyond the courtroom. Mary has received the Pro Bono Public Service Award from the Washington State Bar Association for ten consecutive years (2014–2023) and was honored with the Consumer Rights Litigation Conference Committee Award from the National Consumer Law Center in 2012.
Mary is a tireless advocate who believes everyone deserves equal treatment and the ability to understand and invoke their rights. She is passionate about helping clients find their voice in moments of legal uncertainty and injustice.
