Justin Forrester is the founding attorney of Forrester Law, LLC, where he provides dedicated and results-oriented representation across a range of legal matters, including criminal defense, estate administration and probate, and family law issues such as divorce and child custody. With over a decade of legal experience, he is known for his deep understanding of the law, strong courtroom skills, and commitment to client advocacy.
A native of Jasper, Alabama, Mr. Forrester began his legal career at the Tuscaloosa County Public Defender’s Office, gaining firsthand experience in the criminal justice system. He went on to earn his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, where he graduated from the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute—a nationally renowned, intensive program focused on trial advocacy and courtroom strategy.
Mr. Forrester’s legal experience spans both sides of the courtroom. In addition to his defense work, he has served as a special circuit judge presiding over family law hearings and worked in the District Attorney’s Office in Lansing, Michigan. He also clerked at the law firm of Jaffe and Drennan, further expanding his practical legal training.
He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Alabama and remains deeply connected to his home state. He practices out of offices in both Birmingham and Jasper and is familiar with courts throughout the region.
Mr. Forrester is an active member of several legal organizations, including the National College for DUI Defense, and is respected in the legal community for his integrity, trial skill, and commitment to protecting his clients’ rights.
