Betsy Elsberry is a partner at Elsberry & Shively, where she focuses her practice on oil and gas law, family law, and mediation. With extensive experience in title examination, she assists clients with oil and gas transactions, real estate litigation, and curative matters. In her family law practice, Betsy is known for her attention to detail and ability to guide clients through challenging decisions with clarity and efficiency.
A North Dakota native, Betsy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of North Dakota, graduating summa cum laude. She continued her education at the University of North Dakota School of Law, where she graduated with distinction. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Justice Carol Ronning Kapsner of the North Dakota Supreme Court, gaining valuable insight into the judicial process.
Betsy and her husband, Joe, are originally from Minot and have called Bismarck home for over a decade. They enjoy spending their free time exploring all that the Bismarck community and North Dakota have to offer.
