Bernard J. Hickert is an experienced attorney known for his proficiency in estate planning, probate, trust administration, estate and gift taxation, and business law. He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from Benedictine College in 1977 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1980. Further enhancing his expertise, Mr. Hickert completed an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law in 1995.
Since then, Mr. Hickert has focused his practice on guiding clients through complex estate planning and administration processes. He has also dedicated considerable time to legal education, having served as an adjunct professor for 15 years, teaching estate and gift tax law at Washburn University School of Law and the University of Kansas School of Law.
